Thanks to Brazil's outlaw on imports in the 1970s, a bunch of unique domestically-built cars popped up that you couldn't get anywhere else. One of those cars was the Volkswagen SP2. A stunning coupe with rear-mounted air-cooled engine underpinnings, around 10,000 examples were built, and just a handful have made their way to the US. This 1976 model was recently pulled out of storage and restored. Now, it's for sale on eBay Motors. You should buy it.

The SP2 hides its rear-engine design well. From most angles, it looks like a front-engine GT car thanks to that long hood and sloping roof. The 1700cc engine put out 75 horsepower when new, mated to a manual transaxle sending power to the rear wheels. This particular car was sitting in storage for several years before it was pulled out and given the love it deserves. The paint is new, as are the tires, fuel lines, and interior upholstery. The carburetors have been rebuilt, and all the fluids have been replaced. The car presents nicely in pictures, and is said to run and drive great.
According to the seller, it has just 10,482 kilometers (6552 miles) on the odometer, which is impressively low for any 43-year old vehicle. It's listed on eBay right now in Denver, Colorado with an opening bid of $45,000 and nine days remaining. It's hard to gauge how much these cars are actually worth considering how rarely they come up for sale, but considering the work done to this one and the low mileage, we'd say that's not too high of a price.
